Position: Sports Medicine Physician

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Compensation: $400,000 to $470,000 per year plus bonus

Benefits: Med/Dent/Vis, PTO/Sick, 401k W/ Contributions up to $10k, License Reimbursement & Malpractice Coverage, CME Stipend

Sign On Bonus / Relocation: Up to $30k (depending on candidate)

Call: 3 to 4 call days per month at Estrella, Del Webb, Banner Desert hospitals (depends on need/position)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and board-certified Sports Medicine Physician to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Sports Medicine Physician, you will provide comprehensive medical care and treatment to athletes and individuals with sports-related injuries. You will work closely with patients to diagnose and treat sports-related conditions, develop treatment plans, and promote injury prevention strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations, medical assessments, and examinations of athletes and patients with sports injuries.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, including fractures, sprains, strains, and other sports-related conditions.
• Develop personalized treatment plans, including physical therapy, rehabilitation, and non-surgical interventions, to aid in recovery and improve performance.
• Perform orthopedic procedures such as joint injections, arthroscopy, and minor surgeries as required.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate athletes, coaches, and patients about injury prevention, proper training techniques, and sports-specific conditioning programs.
• Provide medical coverage for sports events and team practices as needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting all patient encounters and treatment plans.
• Stay updated with the latest research, advancements, and best practices in sports medicine.

Requirements:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Sports Medicine.
• Current and unrestricted Arizona State Medical License.
• Proven experience as a Sports Medicine Physician or related field.
• Strong diagnostic and treatment skills for sports-related injuries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to work with athletes of all ages and skill levels.

Compensation and Benefits:
